 Moloney Electric designs & manufactures Step Transformers to suit virtually all applications requiring a simple step up or step down of voltage. Its simplified two winding design offers an economic alternative in connecting systems that have nominally different potentials, for example 4400 and 7200V.  This design of a Step Transformer represents an attractive solution, that provides flexibility and connection alternatives between higher voltage systems.

QUALITY MANUFACTURING

Moloney Electric follows a methodology that allows for the inner winding, (low voltage), to be created first and then the outer winding, (high voltage), is done on top of that.
This allows for a systematic and seamless process of manufacturing and assembly of the transformers. The wire and paper utilized are epoxy coated. When subjected to the
high temperatures of the baking process the epoxy on both components combine and bond to form a solid block of insulation. (continued on reverse)
