Quality Manufacturing

Moloney Electric follows a methodology that allows for the inner winding, (low voltage), to be created first and then the outer winding, (high voltage), is done on top of that. This allows for a systematic and seamless process of manufacturing and assembly of the transformers. The wire and paper utilized are epoxy coated. When subjected to the high temperatures of the baking process the epoxy on both components combine and bond to form a solid  block of insulation.

This provides the coils with strength and support that can withstand  potential high fault current conditions that would attempt to have the windings move inward. Blocks that serve as a solid guide during winding, support the opening for the core. These blocks allow for a symmetrical and even bonding of the epoxy on both paper and wire, eliminating the possibility of spot by spot adhesion. When the core is  assembled on the coil, the achieved symmetrical shape allows for almost perfect core geometry, resulting in a high quality magnetic interaction between core and coil. Neither the core or coil depend on each other for physical support, but rather are independently  supported and braced. The result is a high efficiency, low-loss and low noise product.
